Youth Centre
The JBCC’s Youth Centre has a wide range of programs for Lower Lonsdale Youth’s aged between 11 to 18 years old. There are daily programs filled with lively, fun activities that draw many of the area’s young community members to the Centre. From games night to open gym activities to girls night, the Centre encourages not only participation but also for today’s kids to get involved and be active members of the community.
The Centre is supervised by at least two staff at all times to ensure the activities run smoothly and participation is based on the key JBCC values – inclusiveness, respect, excellence, community leadership, choice and environmental sustainability.
The staff is keen to have fun with our Youths and make sure their experience at the Centre offers:
- Safety from harm
- An environment of respect by staff and other youth
- Access to trained Youth Outreach Workers
- Access to nutritious food

All Outreach Youth Workers visit high schools on the North Shore and can be a valuable resource to parents and youth.
