Donations Accepted
We appreciate community support through fundraising activities and donations which help keep our programs, activities and services strong and affordable. Donations are accepted through the North Shore Neighbourhood House (NSNH), which is a registered charity. A Joint Resource Development Committee, supports and monitors these efforts.
Donations can be made either generally or directed to a specific purpose. Funds raised have helped support many programs including:
• $1 Sunday Family Drop-In. A low-cost activity giving families access to the gym, the family centre and the art studio.
• LoLo Drop-In. A FREE program for parents and young children on Monday and Wednesday mornings.
• Youth Centre. A drop-in centre offering a safe, supportive environment for teens, including food and a variety of positive activities.
• Golden Circle. A special wellness and socialization program for frail North Shore seniors.
• Public art projects. Projects and installations in and around the Community Centre.
