Location
We're located at 145 West 1st Street, just off Lonsdale Avenue in North Vancouver. The Centre is situated one block north of Lonsdale Quay between Chesterfield and Lonsdale.
We have bicycle racks outside the front door and across the street in Jack Loucks Court.
Parking
Limited free on-street parking is available on Lonsdale Avenue, West 1st Street (one hour) and on some streets west of Chesterfield Avenue (two hours). Pay parking is available for $1.50/hour in the Time Market/Esplanade Centre parkade located between the Liquor Store and Shoppers Drug Mart in the 100 block of West Esplanade. Extended parking is available at Level P4. The elevator will take you up to the street, next to our entrance.
Getting Here on Transit
Both Chesterfield and Lonsdale are transit routes. The following routes are within easy walking distance of our front door: 228, 229, 230, 236, 239, 242, 246 and N24.
Getting Here by Car
Coming from downtown over the First Narrows (Lions Gate Bridge):
- Take the Lions Gate Bridge into North Vancouver and travel east along Marine Drive.
- Continue following Marine Drive, which will turn into 3rd Street at the five-way intersection by the Chevron gas station.
- Turn right onto Lonsdale Avenue.
- Drive south 2 blocks and turn right onto West 1st.
- We're on the south side of the street about halfway down.
Coming from Vancouver over the Second Narrows Bridge along Highway 1:
- Take exit 23A off Highway 1 to Main Street.
- Follow Main Street until it splits off into two roads.
- Take the left route, along Low Level Road East.
- Low Level Road East becomes Esplanade.
- Take a right onto Lonsdale Avenue.
- Drive north 1 block and then turn left onto West 1st.
- We're on the south side of the street about halfway down.
